Make a black cat and a candy jar with plastic bottles

No need to spend a fortune on Halloween decorations. Here are two great ideas easy to make from recycled soft drink bottles.

Materials to collect:

Black marker;
Bottles of soft drinks;
Knife with multiple blades;
Black chalkboard spray paint;
White chalk painting;
Orange spray paint;
Decorative ribbon;
Hot glue;
Drill with 1/4 "wood drill bit;
Small branch

Steps for the cat

1-With a black marker, trace the shape of a cat on the bottle. Use about 2/3 of the bottle;

2-With a multi-blade knife, cut in following the shape drawn;

3-Spray the inside and outside of the bottle with black spray paint. The paint should be applied-in a ventilated area or outdoors. Leave to dry for 1 hour;

4-With chalk paint, trace the cat's features on the bottle (eyes, mustaches, etc.);

5-Add a plant in the container.

Project steps 2

1-With a multi-blade knife, cut two bottoms of bottles at a distance of one inch from the base, leaving a longer edge so that the bottles can fit into each other;

2- Spray the inside and outside with orange spray paint. The paint should be applied in a ventilated area or outdoors. Let it dry for 30 minutes;

3-Glue a ribbon with hot glue on the bottom edge of the bottle which is shallow;

4-Insert the two bottoms of bottles into one another by fitting them;

5-Drill the lid of the candy box with a wood wick;

6-Add candies of your choice and a branch in the hole on the top.
