Create a unique decor with old objects!

I love finding new uses for objects around me, in fact, it's almost second nature to me. Before putting an object in the trash because it no longer fulfills its original function or is out of date, we use its creativity and it becomes a unique decorative object!

Hoop to embroider

I particularly like this way to present our photos.

With 3 embroidery circles connected by a delicate metal wire, mini clothes pins to hang the photos and here is the prettiest of mobiles!

Paint sample cartons

That's it. After hours of questioning and procrastination, you have finally chosen the new color of the show!

Are you going to put all those sample cards in recycling? No way!

They can be reused in a thousand ways:

-Like here create a work of art in the pixel art style.
-With punches we can cut out all kinds of shapes: hearts, triangles or pellets!
-We put them on a rope to make a mobile, we create a personalized packaging by sticking the pellets on a gift covered with craft paper.
-Or for an econo and fast table decor, disperse the colored pellets on the tablecloth.

With wool

Filled with good will you knit. But finally, a stitch at the place, a stitch upside down, it's not for you.

With a circle of embroidery and some logs, get this beautiful wool and make yourself a trendy wall decoration.

Wood cups

Whether crates of apples, wine or old cases of soft drinks, we love them all especially for their vintage charm. By fixing casters under a box, we get a nice side table or a perfect bedside table.

I really like the idea of covering the bottom of the box with pages from an old book.

Used toys

Girl and son have grown up and their little toys do not interest them as much? Small animals, super heroes and plastic soldiers and small golden painted cars will make a beautiful 3D art opener. All you have to do is paint the toys and glue them with a hot glue gun to a frame that has been previously removed.

Or, get these toys from to create a very original lamp base! Using strong glue we fix, trucks, auto and tractors on the foot of a lamp. Finally, spray evenly with white, black, gold, copper or silver paint.

Old-fashioned lamp

In the basement you have a lamp with a mahogany base and a checkered shade. relic of your country decor of the 90s? Bring her back in 2016!

Start by simply covering his white paint base. Then remove the fabric from the lampshade to keep only the metal structure. Give some brush strokes with white paint to give an antique look to the metal structure. Finally, hang vintage utensils with a galvanized wire.
